Description

According to Newt Scamander’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the Basilisk is a gigantic deadly snake whose gaze can kill those who look directly into its eye. Even seeing the beast’s eyes through another surface can petrify an unfortunate victim, as Harry Potter and friends discovered in their second year, when Salazar Slytherin’s basilisk went on the rampage around Hogwarts school. Luckily, our Basilisk has been heavily enchanted, so its gaze can only unsettle, not paralyse. This finely decorated, hand-painted Basilisk statue depicts the magical animal coiled, ready to strike, next to the Sword of Godric Gryffindor. The elegant display case and back panel showing the Chamber of Secrets can be removed, making this an exquisite gift for magizoologists and Harry Potter fans and collectors alike.

This Official Noble Collection Basilisk statue is cast in plastic and comes in a brown and clear acrylic case, perfect for display (measures 18cm x 11.5cm x 11.5cm). It can also be removed from the case and its base for individual display (height 14cm). Packaged in a removable clear plastic box, it weighs approx. 600 grams. Cases are bewitched so you do not need to feed or clean your new creature.
